INSTRUCTIONS & CARE

TO WARM YOUR HEAL ME PACKS:

CORN FILLED PACKS:
Adults & Children 12+:
Start at minimum time listed. Add more time in 15-second intervals to reach desired heat. All microwaves are different which is why we can’t tell you exactly how long for your desired heat level.

Small & Medium: @2-3 minutes in microwave
Large: @3 minutes in microwave
X-Large & Wraps:  @3-4 minutes in microwave

Children Under 12:
Heat in 15-30 second increments in microwave, checking frequently. Heat to warm only.

RICE FILLED PACKS
Heat in 15-30 second intervals in microwave, checking frequently. Rice does not (and will not!) get as hot as the corn. Do not overheat, as it will dry out and develop and odor and is a fire risk. Heat to a lightly warm stage only for “little ones”.

REMEMBER: EVERY MICROWAVE IS DIFFERENT!
Your microwave may require more or less time. The first few times you heat your pack, be sure to check often during heating – once you use it a few times, you’ll figure out the right time and heat level for your preference
.

YES! YOU CAN WARM YOUR PACK IN THE OVEN – CAREFULLY!
Pre-heat oven to 225f. Wrap pack in foil and place on a baking stone or pan. Be patient and check frequently, pack will begin to warm in @15-20 minutes.

CAUTION: DO NOT OVERHEAT!
Always follow the directions enclosed in your order or HERE on our website. Overheating can cause burns, risk of fire, and will reduce life of your pack. Never use a pack immediately after surgery when tissue is numb, as this can cause risk of burns!

TO FREEZE YOUR HEAL ME PACKS:

CORN OR RICE PACKS: Store in a plastic bag in the freezer (otherwise it will take on the smell of your freezer). Remove plastic before using. Yes, you CAN warm a pack in the microwave straight from the freezer, but it will take longer. Pay close attention when doing this to be sure it heats evenly. Turning the pack a few times during heating can help if your microwave has hot spots.

TO WASH YOUR HEAL ME PACKS COVER:

For packs with a removable cover, remove the outer cover from pack. Hand wash, or machine wash on delicate. Lay flat to dry. Iron if necessary. Spot clean inner muslin pack. For packs without a removable cover, spot clean only. NEVER submerse your inner pack, or those without a cover, in water!
